A private security firm has withdrawn it’s guards from the home of National Unity Platform presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi located in Magere, Wakiso district.”

So, the private security company that has been guarding my home for the last 12 years has been ordered to withdraw security at my house,” Bobi Wine revealed on Wednesday morning.

He said their supervisors showed up unannounced at midnight, disarmed his guard and said they had instructions to immediately withdraw his security.

“Their explanation was that they’re under police and therefore must do as ordered.”

Military men raided the workplace of one of his comrades and member of his support team Elijah Mukiibi Kaate, a 24 year old who worked in Kiseka market as a mechanic.

“Elijah was shot in the stomach and today morning, he passed away,” he said on Tuesday.”

One wonders how many innocent citizens this regime will have to kill on it’s way out. Rest in peace brother. One day justice will be served.”

Meanwhile, his NUP diaspora leader Herman Ainebyoona jetted into the country for election day.

Upon arrival, he volunteered to deliver polling day materials on behalf of NUP to Lira but was immediately arrested.

“His whereabouts are still unknown although our teams on ground suspect he is being held at Lira CPS.”

“Herman joins thousands of supporters, comrades and leaders who Gen. Museveni has detained in the run up to the election. Like I have been saying, the incredible violence we are witnessing is not evidence of strength. It only shows that the dictatorship is in absolute panic! Their fall is eminent.”
