Renewed Uganda presidential candidate Lt Gen Henry Tumukunde Thursday made a triumphant entry into Lira city.
Escorted by a motorcade and a long line of boda bodas, Tumukunde entered the city waving at his supporters who waited for him on the streets.
“I am here. You don’t need anybody else,” he told them.
He started the day in Oyam district where he reminded the people of Nyai Village in Oyam District that the time for change is now.
In Awiyo Town, Oyam District, he still reminded them that the time for change has come.
He asked them vote him for Presidency so as to enjoy the benefits of the coming change.
He later had to cross muddy swamps while campaigning in the villages.
“There are many rivers to cross and we will make every effort to cross them and reach our destination. (Oyam District, 03.12.20).”
“Vote Change. Protect Your Vote,” he told his supporters.
