Bobi Wine mourns killed fan, heads to Kayunga, Jinja & Kamuli
Presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine is mourning one of his supporters killed during Mukono town fracas.
“Rest in Peace Mohamad Ssebandeke,” he said Tuesday morning.
“This young man was murdered by the Uganda Police yesterday in Nagalama under the command of Nyangoma Grace the DPC.”
According to Bobi Wine, the late was run over by a police patrol truck.
“His crime was supporting me. General Museveni must stop killing Ugandans.”
The deceased was part of the motorcycle procession at Mayangayanga along Nagoje road.
A police truck rammed into them killing Ssebandeke while five others were rushed to Kawolo hospital for treatment.
Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson Patrick Onyango told Daily Monitor the riders were riding carelessly ahead of a police truck yet the road was slippery hence the accident.
He said Ssebandeke’s motorcycle slid and fell under the truck.
Bobi Wine today takes the message of freedom to Kayunga, Jinja and Kamuli.
“We pray and believe that God will go ahead of us and clear the path for His people.”
