Presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine has asked electorates in Kiboga to vote out the incumbent district Woman MP Ruth Nankabirwa.
Nankabirwa, the Government Chief Whip, won the NRM primaries with flying colours.
She is among those who have been representing the electorate for a very long time.
Bobi Wine on Friday argued that Nankabirwa voted to remove the age limit, contrary to the people’s interests.
His National Unity Platform party has fronted Christine Kaaya Nakimweero to end Nankabirwa’s 26-year grip on Kiboga District seat.
At the same rally, Barbie Itungo Kyagulanyi sung for her husband Robert Kyagulanyi’s supporters.
She joined him to look for votes and appealed to women to vote for him, arguing that he understands the governance challenges they are going through.
“The overwhelming love we have experienced in Kiboga is a manifestation that our long time message of hope and freedom has reached the countryside and Ugandans are ripe for change,” Bobi Wine said before heading to Kasanda.
