Police once again blocked National Unity Platform presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi from accessing Kasese town on Tuesday.
“Once again we were blocked from entering Kasese but the people moved a whole ten kilometres to come and listen to our message,” Bobi Wine said.
He said as it’s their habit, the police and military unleashed violence on unarmed peaceful citizens.
He said the violence left one lady with a shattered foot, a young man was shot in the leg while another elderly man was shot in the ribs and rushed to hospital in a critical condition.
“Their crime was supporting Bobi Wine and NUP.”
“We were later supposed to attend a radio program on Messiah Fm but on reaching the station, we were informed that the deputy chief of defense forces-Lt Gen Wilson Mbadi had ordered the radio station not to host us.”
“The regime is in so much panic but we shall not stop.”
