Independent presidential candidate Joseph Kabuleta says there will be no one who will ever rule for more than 10 years after President Museveni leaves power.

The pastor said the wave of change of building steadily and a fresh new dawn is sweeping across the country.

He had a fruitful meeting with the elders and spiritual leaders in Teso region gathered in Soroti city at the close of the week.

They discussed financial liberation of the region and prayed to God for godly leadership so that the land can be healed and blessed.

“The war between good and evil is now before our very eyes, in the political space!” Kabuleta noted.

He later met top church leaders in Kampala and we discussed what his Presidency means to the faith community.

In Teso subregion, Kabuleta welcomed the coalition of independent candidates from Teso subregion “into our cause to Reclaim Our Country and Kin”.

He had leaders from Kumi, Soroti, Serere, Katakwi, Kapelebyong, Ngora, Kaberamaido, Amuria and Tororo.

Beyond the politics of homogenous colours and symbols, it was refreshing to meet independent minded leaders who have a passion to see a better Uganda where all people are financially liberated, he said.

“I can confidently say that the strongest independent candidates in Teso subregion are part of our cause and will be strong partners for liberating the region.”

“I graciously accepted to lead them on the presidential ticket and endorse their mandates to lead different constituents. The work begins. Uganda for us all!”

Kabuleta says there is a need to return to the basics of governance.

“This regime has put too much power in the hands of one person and away from the real place power should be, the people of Uganda. I am here to change that.”

Kabuleta later in the weekend headed to Eastern Uganda spreading the financial liberation message in door to door evangelism in Mbale city.

“We assume Ugandans are intelligent because they are! We won’t sell them politics but a message that applies to them and appeals to their better judgment.
