Leone Island singing doctor Jose Chameleone is starting his own television station.
The Kampala Lord Mayoral candidate called the new TV ‘Leone Television’.
He says it will employ youths and bring fresh air to the Uganda television industry.
“20 years down the road!! @leonetelevision Loading…… 4 all my youths Loading…….. 🇺🇬 #ALAALI OUR TELEVISON STATION LOADING!!!!!!!!” he posted on Instagram.
He said the TV’s signal and channel is 541 on GOtv and free to air on DStv.
He has already created social media platforms for the television.
He becomes one of the few musicians in the region who own a television station.
Tanzanian bongo flava artiste Diamond Platnumz owns Wasafi Television and Wasafi Radio.
