Security has blocked National Unity Platform President Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine from accessing Kyenjojo town.
Bobi Wine who is on a campaign trail in western Uganda, made his first stop in Kyegegwa town.
Followed by mass crowds, he shook the small town attracting teargas from police.
“Thank you Kyegegwa. Not even the intimidation could stop you from coming out to show solidarity early morning,” he said.
In Kyenjojo, security blocked him from accessing the town and sent him to a place, deep in the village.
“Meanwhile, we are being followed everywhere by teargas trucks, police pick-ups with soldiers, mini-buses which they use to arrest us, etc.”
“All these meant to scare people from even approaching us, but some PEOPLE are refusing to submit,” he vowed.
