The West Nile expedition of FDC Party Presidential Flag bearers that started yesterday in the districts of Moyo early morning ended Monday evening in the greater Nebbi.
The West Nile subregion was clustered into 3 subzones with the districts of Moyo, Yumbe, Adjuman, and Obongi meeting at Multi Purpose Hotel in Moyo district.
Among leaders present were Mr. Job Mondara Chairman Adjumani, Mayor Adjumani Patrick Tandrupasi and Parliamentary Candidate for Adjumani West, Duru Lawrence MP contestant for Adjumani East and LCV Candidate Adjumani District Agwe Solomon together with a host of many delegates and candidates at local government levels.
The second cluster consisted of delegates from the districts of Maracha, Madi Okolo, Terego, Koboko, Arua District and Arua city who converged at Cafeteria in Arua City Sunday afternoon.
Among the dignitaries present were Hon Onguzu Lee Dennis of Maracha west, Hellen Ochan Woman MP contestant Arua city, FDC Elder Mr Hilal Nassim, Mr Mawa John MP contestant Maracha East, Mr Musema Swalik MP contestant Terego west and Electoral Commissioner Hajji Hakim Molli.
Early Monday, the Presidential flag bearer Contestants interfaced with the delegates and leaders of the last subzone of greater Alur consisting the districts of Nebbi, Pakwach and Zombo.
Among others, Mr. Onega Robert the Party Parliamentary candidate for Neebi Municipality, Ms. Bithola Irene the Woman MP candidate for Nebbi district, Mr. Jalum Henry – MP contestant for Padyere county, Mr. Olangi Mba Charles the Mayor candidate for Nebbi Municipality, Ms. Awekunimungu Prossy the Woman MP candidate for Pakwach district together with a host of delegates and Party candidates at local government levels attended the meetings.
Both Presidential flag bearer candidates throughout the journey have outlined their manifesto but with strong commitment to work together at the end of the exercise to foster Unity in the Party and also bring about regime change.
In these gatherings, an announcement to pay nomination fees for all Party candidates at all levels have been announced.
