Pheona Wall voted Uganda Law Society president


Pheona Nabaasa Wall has been elected Uganda Law Society (ULS) President.

She replaces Simon Peter Kinobe whose term of office comes to an end.

Diana Angwech has also been elected President and Vice President of the Uganda Law Society.

Pheona picked an early lead in the Saturday election as per results from several polling stations across the country.

She was leading in the race trailed by Mr. Bernard Oundo.

Pheona Wall – 19 votes

Bernard Oundo – 12 votes

Rashid Ssemambo – 10 votes

Walusimbi Nelson – 4 votes

Anne Karungi – 0

Commercial Court:

Pheona Nabaasa Wall – 109 Votes

Bernard Oundo – 99 Votes

Nelson Walusimbi – 61 Votes

Ssemambo Rashid – 53 Votes

Twed Towers:

Pheona Wall – 94 Votes

Bernard Oundo – 65 Votes

Nelson Walusimbi – 37 Votes

Rashid Ssemambo – 45 Votes

Anne Karungi – 6 Votes

Pheona rose from Public relations officer at National Water and Sewerage Corporation as well as Airtel Uganda.

She then became the PR director at Public Relations Association of Uganda (PRAU).

She rose to Senior Manager Legal Services at NWSC and then Vice President ULS.
