The National Unity Platform on Tuesday officially welcomed a number of religious leaders [Pastors] who joined from the different parts of the country.
“We are glad to have them on board in this struggle for Freedom,” said party spokesperson Joel Ssenyonyi.
Also among those that we welcomed were the comrades from Nakifuma who have been supporters of the ruling NRM party for the past years.
“In a very special way, we also received several pastors of several Pentecostal Churches from Kamuli district,” said Bobi Wine.
“I am especially delighted to receive these pastors because it is an act of great courage for men and women of God to defy the dictator and stand with the PEOPLE.”
He added: “They also passed by my home and we prayed together for our nation.”
