Ruhinda North MP Thomas Tayebwa and Umeme worker Bonny Bukenya have resolved to settle their matter outside court.
This is according to a joint statement between Tayebwa and Bukenya issued Saturday.
It concerns the Busabala incident in which Tayebwa’s workers assaulted Bukenya who was on official duty.
He has gone to disconnect an illegal power line at Tayebwa’s Kigo construction site.
In a statement, Bukenya says Tayebwa apologized to him hence he decided to withdraw charges.
He said some people had wanted to use him to fight Tayebwa for political gain.
