National Unity Platform leader Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine says police has sprayed pepper in his eyes.
Bobi Wine was Wednesday returning from Mbale city where he attended court for the case he filed against the DPC, RPC, OC and the RDC.
He accuses the IGP of unlawfully denying him access to BCU FM on the 8th of this month.
As usual, police unleashed brutal force, firing tear gas and live bullets at the innocent citizens who stood by the road sides to show solidarity, he said.
“Police Officer ASP Asimwe Abraham actually came to my car window and sprayed pepper spray direct into my eyes as he cursed me.”
He added: “I wondered the kind of police we have.”
Bobi Wine thanked the people who stood by the road sides waited to wave to us all the way from Mbale to Jinja.
“Thank you for the love.”
Meanwhile, the presidential hopeful was again blocked by police along Gayaza Road on his way to Magere home.
