Otto finally quits FDC, joins new political party


Aruu County MP Odonga Otto has finally quit Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) if we go by his latest tweet.

Otto tweeted that he had joined Uganda Economic Party (UEP) where he was elected as Secretary General.

“The UGANDA ECONOMIC PARTY (UEP) held it’s delegates conference today and I was elected the Party’s Secretary General,” he tweeted.

He added: “All documents were tendered to the EC.”

According to Otto,
UEP advocates for “economic rights” of all Ugandans.

“United we stand.”

With its offices located at Plot 14 William Street, Kirumira Towers, 7, UEP is currently led by James Wantetena.

Otto joins several legislators like Gerald Karuhanga, Kassiano Wadri, Paul Mwiru who joined Rtd. Gen. MUgisha Muntu’s Alliance for National Transformation (ANT) party.

Others joined MP Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine’s National Unity Platform (NUP)/ People Power alliance.
