Ruparelia Group owned Victoria University has reduced tuition fees by half.
This was announced by the directors Sudhir and his son Rajiv Ruparelia on Monday.
“It’s official!! We are reducing tuition to enable affordable education for all,” Rajiv said.
Addressing press in the University auditorium in Kampala, Rajiv said the reduction comes amidst Covid19 challenges.
“We aim and take on the work of ensuring affordable education for all.”
In a major give back to the education sector, the University announced a reduction on tuition fees on all courses by 50%.
The reduction will benefit new and continuing students.
Rajiv said this is a way of making quality education affordable and accessible.
The new fees structure takes effect from September 2020.
The initiative is to keep education at the core of nurturing talents and skill.
“Now more than ever, Victoria University is here to keep dreams alive,” Rajiv said.
