Uganda National Examination Board (UNEB) has said the registration of candidates is still on hold as decreed due to coronavirus pandemic.
This came after reports that the examination body was pressuring parents and demanding for examinations fees from them.
UNEB Principal Public Relations Office, Jennifer Kalule, said Sunday that parents that no candidate has been registered.
According to Kalule, online registration of candidates for the year 2020 was due to start on April 1 2020 but was halted following a directive by President Museveni.
UNEB accordingly on March 19, 2020 communicated to the public that registration of candidates would be put on hold until schools resume, she noted.
