More seven patients who have recovered from COVID-19 have today been discharged from Mulago Hospital.
The Thursday event was presided over by Hon. Robinah Nabbanja, the Minister of State For Health General Duties.
Ainebyoona Emmanuel, the Health ministry spokesperson, said those discharged include; 3 females and 4 males.
According to Daily Monitor, another patient was discharged from Hoima regional referral hospital, bringing the total number of recoveries to 20.
Total coronavirus cases in Uganda are still 55.
State Ministers for Health in charge of Primary Health Care, Moriku Joyce and General Duties, Hon. Robinah Nabbanja received a Cheque of UGX 20M from Escorts Pharmaceuticals to support the COVID-19 response.
The Minister for Health, Jane Ruth Aceng received UGX 80M from Mantra and 10 motorcycles donated by MAC EA/ Isuzu to support the COVID-19 response.
Aceng and Nabbanja also received 500 pieces of test kits worth UGX 35M from Dodta Group of Companies.
