Coronavirus cases in Uganda have risen to 52.
Out of 300 samples tested Sunday, 4 are positive for COVID-19, said Health minister Dr Jane Aceng.
This brings the total number of COVID-19 confirmed cases to 52 in the country.
“Stay home and stay safe,” she advised.
Permanent Secretary Dr Diana Atwine said 300 samples were tested and 296 came back negative while four were positive.
She said all the 4 positive cases were travelers from abroad that were under quarantine.
As a preventive measure, she urged social distancing bringing to attention those jogging in crowds.
She also urged regularly washing hands with soap.
