Bobi Wine, Bebe Cool record coronavirus songs

Kyadondo East singing MP Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine and Gagamel singer Moses Ssali aka Bebe Cool are taking the lead in composing songs that will raise awareness against coronavirus.

Bobi Wine Wednesday shared a video of himself and singing partner Nubian Li in studio recording a song titled “Corona Virus Alert”.

“As we all unite to confront the Corona Virus pandemic, we decided to send this message through music and we hope it will encourage the many efforts to sensitize our people,” said Bobi Wine.

“May this edutainment brighten up your quarantine and please share so that the message reaches far and wide.”

Earlier, he issued a statement on COVID19 in light of the new developments.

“Aside from raising awareness, we need to take steps to ease the burden on the citizens,” he noted.

He added: “Been on phone with some private sector leaders discussing ways they can help.”

Bebe Cool coordinates all-star song

Bebe Cool isn’t sleeping either. He is in studio recording an all-star song titled “Corona Distance”.

So far, Fresh Kid and his father Fresh Daddy have visited Bebe’s Ntinda based studios and recorded their part.

Others who have already done their parts include; A Pass, Swangz Avenue’s Vinka, John Blaq, Lady Akira and Azawi.  

On a lighter note, Bebe said when the going gets tough, the tough gets going.

“Women can save many people in this situation of luck of masks. Use BRAS and the SHOULDER PADS in your clothes to improvise,” he suggested.
