Unknown people last week circulated leaflets carrying death threats against 12 Members of Parliament citing different reasons.
The threatened MPs include; Allan Sewanyana [Makindye West], Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu [Kyadondo East], Kasibante Moses [Rubaga North], Mugume Roland [Rukungiri Municipality], Latif Ssebagala [Kawempe North], Theodore Sekikuubo [Lwemiyaga County] and Francis Zaake Butebi [Mityana Municipality].

Speaking to NBS TV over the weekend, MP Ssewanyana said he found the notice near his gate placing him among the most wanted people.
Ssewanyana told NilePost that he was shocked when one of his bodyguards gave him news about the threatening notices flying around his constituency.
The notices came at a time MPs are collecting signatures to censure Security minister Gen Elly Tumwine.
“I am going to parliament to inform the house about this incident. Hon members who are on this list have called me that even in their areas they have received similar threats like Hon Kasibante Moses,” Ssewanyana said.
The deputy police spokesperson Kampala Metropolitan area, Luke Owoyesigyire, said police has started investigations into the matter.
