The Speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga has Tuesday morning handed over Shs114 million to the Triplets Ghetto Kids.
The Speaker made the pledge at the Parliament end of year party last year where the dance group performed.
Each MP contributed Shs250,000 to the cause that was aimed at saving the kids from eviction from a House that they had failed to fully pay up for.
Of this money, Shs100m will go towards clearing the landlord land lord, Manisul Ssekatawa who was present, while Shs14,250,000 is meant for the Ghetto Kids welfare.
While handing over the dummy cheque, Kadaga lashed at naysayers who claimed Parliament had failed to fulfil their pledge.
Patricia Nabakooza, the Ghetto Kids spokesperson, pledged to continue raising the Ugandan flag high.
