Unknown people set the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) party offices on fire in Kabale town.
Party workers told Uganda Radio Network [URN] that the offices located in Kisoro Taxi Park on Kabale Road were burnt on Monday night.
The fire destroyed party membership cards, posters of party leaders, curtains, among other items.
A police sniffer dog was brought to the scene but it could not track the suspects due to crime scene tampering.
President Museveni, the party chairman, starts his tour of Kigezi sub-region Wednesday.
