Old is gold Kads Band legendary musician Akiiki Romeo on Saturday walked down the aisle Diana, the girl of his dreams, at a lavish function.
The colourful wedding took place at Sheraton hotel in Kampala.
“Thanks to everyone who was there on our wedding day. It was a beautiful day!” he said on Sunday.
He added: “The 11th of January 2020 will forever be memorable in our lives.”
He thanked photographer Nelly Salvatore for the wedding photography: “They put their hearts and souls in their work. Big up!”

Romeo’s wedding ceremony was graced by prominent people including government officials and media personalities.
A born of Masindi, an artiste who formerly worked with Kads Band headed by legend John Kaahwa from Tooro, Romeo was the name of those days.
He worked as a Capital radio presenter back in the day when the 91.3 FM was still the No.1 hit station in the city.
He is also remembered for his “morning breeze” show on Fort Portal based Voice of Tooro [VOT] radio.
A legendary Bunyoro artiste, he is known for songs like; No Parking, Byeebere, Garuka, Genda Mpora, Give Me A Break, Kankulinde, Kiki Eki Oroho?, Ndoota Iwe, Nganyira, Tibingana, Take Me Ft. Dj Scooby, Sure Deal and Makanika.
Romeo started learning music in school and in traditional dance groups in Uganda.
He performed as a cabaret artist from 1989, then later joined the School of Music at Makerere University, Kampala, Uganda.
He released his first solo album in 1994, performed with the Badindaz Band from 1994 to 1995 and then joined the KADS Band in 2001.
Romeo has had several hit songs in Uganda. He won the Pearl of Africa Music Award in its early days.
