Police is holding two men who allegedly created a fake Facebook account in the names of the Vice President, Edward Kiwanuka Ssekandi, to con Ugandans.
CID detectives picked the suspects Iddi Bategeka and Mark Mutebi from Mpasan in Kakumiro District.
CID spokesperson, Charles Twine, told NBS that the duo was arrested following a spurious post on a pseudo-Facebook account that was created in the names of Ssekandi.

Detectives also retrieved electronic gadgets from the suspects that are of evidential value including their phone sets and simcards.
They are currently being interrogated at CID headquarters in Kibuli.
They will be charged with, electronic fraud and obtaining money by false pretence.
