Cabinet reshuffle: Kamya, Rukutana, Amongi, Otafiire, Tumwebaze trade places

President Museveni Saturday named a new cabinet shifting ministers from one ministry to the other and retaining most of them in their original positions.

Mwesigwa Rukutana was moved from deputy Attorney General and made Minister of State for Labour, Employment and Industrial Relations.

Minister of Tourism, Wildlife & Antiquities is now Hon. Butime Tom who was previously the minister of Local Government.

Minister of Local Government is newly appointed Hon. Rafael Magyezi.

Victoria University

Minister of Works and Transport is Gen. Katumba Wamala who was earlier minister of state for works.

Minister of Lands, Housing & Urban Development is Hon. Kamya Betty who has been minister of Kampala affairs.

Minister for Kampala and Metropolitan Affairs is now Hon. Amongi Betty who has been minister of Lands.

Minister of East African Affairs Maj. Gen. Kahinda Otafiire who has been minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs.

Minister of Justice & Constitutional Affairs is now Hon Ephraim Kamuntu who has been minister of Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities.

Minister of Gender, Labour & Social Affairs is Hon. Frank Tumwebaze who has been Minister of Information ICT & Communications now occupied by Judith Nabakooba.

Minister of State for Minerals is Hon. Achieng Sarah Opendi who has been minister of Health and General Duties.

The new Minister of State for Works is Hon Lokeris Aimat Peter.
