Bar & Bench Africa on Friday announced the passing of their Advocate Frederick K. Sentomero who reportedly collapsed and died on spot.
According to reports, Sentomero succumbed to a heart attack.
“It’s with deep sorrow that we report the passing of Adv. Frederick K. Sentomero, a Founding & Senior Partner of M/s Osinde Sentomero Himbaza (OSH) Advocates,” the law firm announced.
It added: “It’s a dark day for Uganda’s Legal Profession. May his soul rest in eternal peace.”
About
Sentomero was a Partner, Corporate and Commercial practice at OSH Advocates, Solicitors and Legal Consultants.
Over the years he has advised private and public companies, government enterprises, Non-governmental organisations and individuals in various industries.
He is an experienced corporate Finance, M&A, Tax and commercial lawyer. He has and continue to lead teams on a number of transactions.
Experience
He worked with OSH Advocates located at 2nd Floor West Wing, Commercial Plaza, Plot 7 Kampala Road, since July 2014 [5 years and 5 months].
Previously, he was a partner with Katende, Ssempebwa advocates from March 2002 – May 2014 [12 years and 3 months].
Education
Sentomero went to Law Development Centre for a Post Graduate Diploma in Law Practice from 1994 – 1995.
He had attended Makerere University from 1991 – 1994 and Makerere College School for his secondary education.
The deceased was proficient in Luganda, Kiswahili languages.
He was a member of Global Law Experts (GLE) Global Law Experts (GLE), Global Law Experts (GLE) and Tanzania Global Corporate Attorneys.
