President Museveni on Tuesday met East Africa Has Got Talent winners Esther and Ezekiel Mutesasira.
This was at the 4th International Conference on Tax in Africa at Serena Conference Centre in Kampala.
“I met my bazukulu Esther and Ezekiel Mutesasira, who performed a beautiful song titled “Africa”, which encourages people to pay taxes,” Museveni said.
He added: “Again, I congratulate them on their recent success, where they were crowned winners of the East Africa Has Got Talent competition.”
Esther and Ezekiel Mutesasira in October this year won the East African Got Talent championship held in the Kenyan capital Nairobi.
Brother and sister brought home a grand prize of $50,000 [about Shs180m].
Both children of gospel musician Julie Mutesasira and Pastor Steven Mutesasira, the siblings performed a Whitney Houston/Mariah Carey hit during the final round of the competition.
