Dr Hamza Ssebunya has vowed in public to love singer Rema Namakula until death do them apart.
He was speaking Thursday at the glamorous introduction ceremony held at Rema’s parent’s home in Nabbingo, Wakiso district.
“I love you so much. I will love you forever,” Sebunya confessed in front of guests and parents.
The doctor told his guests that he doesn’t love Rema because of her looks but who she is.
“She is my best friend and personal person.”
He promised to be with her forever and ever.
“Whether people love you or not, I give you this guitar so you can sing for them,” he said while gifting him the music instrument.
“I love your music better than anyone else’s,” he added.
The ceremony was attended by artists like Irene Ntale, Irene Namatovu, Chris Evans, Irene Namubiru, Ykee Benda, John Blaq, Mary Bata, Wilson Bugembe, among others.
Other notables at the event include Buganda Queen Sylvia Nagginda, city tycoon Kirumira, Buganda Katikkiro Peter Mayiga and controversial Muslim leader Sheikh Muzaata, among others.
