Da Nu Eagles singing couple Geoffrey Lutaaya and his wife Irene Namatovu are also part of the senior six candidates doing Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education [UACE] exams this year.
The UACE exams commenced on November 11, 2019 and will run until December 2.
Lutaaya who dropped out of school 20 years ago, returned and sat for Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) or senior four exams in 2018 scoring aggregate 62.
Together with his wife Namatovu, the couple is sitting senior six exams together this year.
Lutaaya is also expected to contest for Kakuto county MP in 2021 general elections.
Lutaaya and wife are the owners of a musical band known as Da Nu Eagles.
His best-done subject were English, a C5, followed by Biology in which he scored a C6.
CRE is the only other subject in which he scored other than an F9, a P8, while he scored F9 in all the other five subjects.
This success inspired his wife Namatovu who already has a UCE certificate to pursue the UACE certificate in one of the schools in Luwero district.
