H.E. Félix Tshisekedi, the President of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), is returning to Uganda this week for a three-day state visit.
This was announced by the ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday during the Official Media launch and Press briefing for the 1st Uganda – DRC Joint Business Forum at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Headquarters, Wapa Auditorium.
The launch was presided over by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uganda, Hon. Sam Kutesa.
Tshisekedi will attend the joint Uganda-Congo Business Forum which will take place on 9th November 2019 at Kampala Serena hotel.
The Forum will take place under the theme “Promoting Bilateral Trade, Investment and Connectivity for Mutual Peace and Prosperity”.
The main objective of this Joint Business Forum is to enhance bilateral trade between the two countries and to share experiences; identify opportunities; create business networks; identify challenges and agree on an appropriate way forward.
This Business Forum organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Trade, Industry and Cooperatives; Ministry of Finance and Private Sector Foundation Uganda (PSFU) will be presided over by H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni President of the Republic of Uganda and H.E. Tshisekedi.
