Shiela Nduhukire has left NTV Uganda and joined the Kamwokya based NBS television.
Shiela was unveiled Friday by Next Media Group CEO Kin Kariisa and welcomed by her new colleagues.
“Welcome to the winning team,” said Kin Kariisa as he welcomed Sheila.
“@Snduhukire is always @nbstv When I came here in 2016 I spoke to a man @KKariisa who gave me the sense than I was becoming part of something really huge,” said host Samson Kasumba.
He added: “This is not just work. It’s a contribution to creating a nation we shall leave to our children. You are most welcome Shiela.”
The popular news anchor and reporter previously worked for NTV Kenya and struck fame in 2016 general elections.
She joins a long list of journalists who left NTV for NBS including; Solomon Sserwanja, RukhShana Namuyimba, Sheila Tusiime Mugisha, Ernest Wisdom Kiyonga, Darren Kyeyune, MC Kats, and Douglas Lwanga.
Nduhukire who hails from Kazo, Kiruhura District, joined Nation Media Group as a trainee journalist.
