Police has opened a hunt for The Ebonies actress Princess Becky Jjuko who released her nude pictures and allegedly encouraged her followers to share them widely.
Police Spokesperson, Patrick Onyango, told NBS TV that Slyner Nangendo aka Princess Becky Juuko is wanted to explain how her naked photos found their way on the internet.
Becky’s pics and a short clip have been doing the rounds online since Wednesday.
In the clip, she tells her lover how much she misses him and wants him by her side.
Onyango said they are still waiting on Pornography Control Committee (PCC) to advise further on the course of action.
“But in the meantime, Becky is advised to report the matter to police,” Onyango added.
A person who produces or participates in the production of, or traffics in, publishes, broadcasts, procures, imports, exports or in any way abets pornography contrary to subsection (1) commits an offense and is liable, on conviction, to a fine not exceeding five hundred currency points or imprisonment not exceeding ten years or both.
A chat also emerged showing Slyner telling a fan to share her posts widely and win a ticket to Ebonies shows.
Detoothing a Mzungu?
Slyner is one of those two hot babes in the Ebonies crew who look alike, but are not even related.
The nudes came at a time Facebook was awash reports that Slyner detoothed a US based Mzungu who met her on Facebook.
“Within days of meeting on Facebook, she told me that her mother’s fridge had broken down, I sent USD200. She said that when I come to visit her in Uganda, where we would be living as husband and wife, she will need to have a private house now that she was staying with her parents, I furnished the house too.”
“Slyner told me that she needed a passport to travel to the US as her boss had confiscated her travel document now that she did not want them to travel, I sent her $1000 for a passport,” the said Mzungu allegedly said.
Established in 1977, The Ebonies is Uganda’s best known drama group and is East Africa’s leading drama and Television group.
