Kyadondo East singing MP Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine has cancelled his show which was supposed to take place in Boston in America this month.
“Friends, fans and supporters in Boston and neighbouring areas; I know many of you were looking forward to joining us for a music concert on 25th August, and we were very much looking forward to meeting you once again,” he said on Sunday.
“Unfortunately, another engagement of great national importance came up on that weekend and we had to cancel the show.”
He added: “Nonetheless, I can promise that we shall be coming to see you very soon.”
Bobi Wine said he requested his team to look at the possibility of fixing at least one day to meet his fans in Boston during his upcoming trip to the United States.
Bobi said he is in touch with the organiser Ms. Juliet Zawedde, about a possibility of rescheduling the show to another date in the near future.
“Apologies for any inconveniences caused. Thank you once again for the solidarity. Keep on keeping on! We shall overcome.”
Bobi Wine took off time to appreciate the friendship of his singing partner Nubian Li.
He said even in this painful world, there are friends who are a breath of fresh air and that even in the lowest times, there are friends who are a source of motivation and confidence.
“Even in times of uncertainty, there are friends who give you reason to trust and believe. Even in times of great indiscipline, there is always that sober friend that calls you to order,” he noted.
“Show me your friends and I will tell you your Character, my friend is Nubian Li. Happy birthday day to you Ras Nubian.”
