Tanzania Bongo flava singer Diamond Platnumz has now developed a phobia for Ugandan women after his long time ordeal with socialite Zari Hassan.

Diamond who is in the country for the Comedy Store show today, Thursday at UMA show grounds in Lugogo, shared his fear with press on Wednesday.

While at Mestil hotel in Nsambya, Diamond was asked if he has plans of picking any other Ugandan lady since his marriage with Zari failed.

The singer begun with a chuckle, then looked around as if searching for comfort first.

His eyes run from the journalist who asked [Zahara Totto, NBS Uncensored host] to Alex Muhangi, the founder of Comedy Store and then back to other journalists.

Supressing a laugh, Diamond announced: “Man, I don’t want to invite any more trouble.” Then journalists joined him in rolling with laughter.

Zari

Diamond said he was thankful to God that a new baby is on the way and that he was planning to change his life.

He spoke on the engagement with Kenyan model Tanasha Donna, her pregnancy and future plans as regards the music industry.

When asked about Zari and numerous social media allegations that she has made against him, Diamond jerked his head up with interest.

“What do the stories say?” he threw back the question at edge.ug editor Rogers Atukunda.

The journalist told Diamond that numerous articles had been authorised about him regarding the South African house Zari claims to be leaving, how she rejected his proposal towards their break up and the claim that he neglects his children.

“Well, as you know in any relationship, things sometimes don’t work out. Ours too didn’t work it, so, we had to move on.”

On allegations of child neglect [Zari claimed Diamond doesn’t speak to his children], the singer said despite the separation, the two will raise their children well.

“We are committed to raising our kids. When you hear such reports, please take them positively.”

Zari, the subject of the topic, Thursday afternoon arrived in the country too. She will be the special guest judge and Patron at Miss Uganda 2019 grand finale getting underway on Friday at Sheraton hotel.

On arrival at Entebbe airport, Zari said since her mother died, she has no reason to return to Uganda except for Miss Uganda.

Meanwhile, Kenyan comedian Eric Omondi has also arrived in the country for the Comedy Store show.
