CMI arrests 40 Rwandans in city church raid


Police and soldiers attached to Chieftaincy of Military Intelligence raided a church in Kibuye, Kampala and arrested 40 Rwandan nationals.

The church located on the first floor of Joinus building at Kibuye along Entebbe Road allegedly hosts only Rwandans.

According to Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson Patrick Onyango, police and the army first cordoned off the scene and ordered Rwandans who were holding a meeting to come out.

Daily Monitor reported that most of the people arrested were Rwandans but they had fake Ugandan National identification cards.
