Moses Angoria, the private security guard who shot businessman Arnold Ainebyona Mugisha at Quality Supermarket, Naalya has been brought to court.

Angoria attached to Saracen security firm on Thursday appeared before Kira Magistrate’s Court but could neither be charged nor remanded.

From Mulago National Referral Hospital, the guard was carried by aides into the courtroom presided over Grade One Magistrate Joan Aciro.

Daily Monitor reports that Angoria was vomiting, passing urine and stools.

The magistrate instead ordered police to take him back for treatment saying she could not remand such a suspect to Luzira Prison.

According to reports, Angoria shot Mugisha after a disagreement stemming from the deceased’s colleagues abandoning a trolley that rolled and damaged another client’s car.

Charged later

After several hours, Angoria was returned to court after getting medical attention and charged with murder.

He was remanded to Luzira prison until July 26.

Prosecution states that Ongoria on July 9, 2019 at Quality Shopping village, Naalya, Namugongo Division Kira Municipality in the Wakiso District with malice aforethought unlawfully Killed Ainebyona.
