Young rapper Patrick Ssenyonjo aka Fresh Kid dismissed reports claiming he received a car donated by a Good Samaritan.
Social media was awash with reports and pictures of a new Nissan Rogue with a South Sudan number plate SSD 350 AW was reportedly given to him on Sunday when he went to attend church service in Bugolobi.
His own father Paul Mutabaazi told NBS Television’s popular entertainment bulletin called ‘UNCUT’, that the car was offered to Fresh Kid to help in taking him to and from school until he finishes his primary leaving exams.
“I feel so happy. When you come into a new community, you make new friends, I was at church and I met this parent who asked me how I take Fresh Kid to school. He told me that he was going to give me a car that I will use to take Fresh Kid to school,” Mutabaazi told NBS.
He said the car will only be used to take him to and from Kampala Parents School and that the Good Samaritan will provide the fuel and driver.
Fresh Kid dismisses the claims
In response, Fresh Kid said: “I haven’t set my eyes on the ride (car) the media is claiming some good whatever Samaritan offered.”
He added: “For now……….. It’s just a hearsay. People are using my name to gain popularity. But anyway, whoever he/she was, thanks if at all it’s true.”
The rapper said June is successfully closed with no “hiatus” [sic] though with alot of drama surrounding him.
“I mean alot of crisis. My next stop is Dubai. Keep loving @ImFreshKidUg Music, You guys have been so supportive. Thanks once more again.”
