It was all glamour and fashion at the Sheraton Kampala Hotel Tuesday night as Kezzi Entertainment unveiled the final 22 contestants for Miss Uganda World beauty pageant for the year 2019/2020.
MTN Uganda is partnering with Kezzi Entertainment and Talent Africa Group to bring a new and dynamic change that will see one of the contestants crowned miss pulse.
“The voting will start soon. Ensure you vote for your favourite contestant,” MTN said.
“As MTN, we are keen on supporting the Youth in a special way. Supporting the Miss Uganda World will enable us to reach out to the Youth in ways that they are passionate about Miss Uganda 2019.”
This partnership will also reach out to the Maternal and girl child health programmes.
Speaking on behalf of Kezzi, Brenda Nanyonjo, commended MTN for accepting to come on board.
“As a person who has worked with MTN before, I know what this partnership will bring to Miss Uganda,” she said.
The MTN Foundation and Miss Uganda will work to extend support to Youth programmes across the country and to the mothers who need help.
MTN PRO Sylvia Namutebi mentioned that Miss Popularity will be rebranded as Miss Pulse.
The auditions were held at Kampala Sheraton on 22nd and 23rd June from 10am to 3pm.
