President Yoweri Museveni on Friday made a stopover at Zana Trading Centre along the Kampala – Entebbe Highway and offered his condolences following the recent murder of two women identified as Naluwadda and Maureen Nakabubi.
The two women were attacked by thugs at a Zana mobile money outlet and shot dead.
President Museveni promised the residents of the Zana area that serious investigations were going to be carried out and that the culprits would be caught and dealt with.
The next day, police said it arrested two other notorious robbers who shot and killed mobile money agents in Zana, along Entebbe road.
Police spokesperson, CP Fred Enanga, while addressing press on Saturday, identified the suspects as Onechan Emma and Magusho Denis.
Police had earlier arrested Muluuta Stanley alias Jjumba Frank aka Ssalongo in connection with the murder.
The suspects who are former convicts were recently released from prison and are highly connected to multiple shootings.
They were arrested while planning another robbery mission of a mobile money dealer in Mutukula.
They had an AK 47 gun with which they have been terrorising Nansana, Mpererwe and Kajjansi suburbs.
