Police arrests armed thugs behind Zana killings

Police has arrested two other notorious robbers who shot and killed mobile money agents in Zana, along Entebbe road.

Police spokesperson, CP Fred Enanga, while addressing press on Saturday, identified the suspects as Onechan Emma and Magusho Denis.

Police had earlier arrested Muluuta Stanley alias Jjumba Frank aka Ssalongo in connection with the murder.

The suspects who are former convicts were recently released from prison and are highly connected to multiple shootings.

In Masaka, they robbed a Toyota harrier Reg no UBA 874W at Kimanya village which they later sold it in South Sudan

In Katwe on May 4, they robbed a bag containing a pressure machine and clothes which they mistook for cash.

At church zone in Nateete parish on May 14, they robbed Mwesigwa Denis and his wife of Shs610,000 and other items before shooting dead Walugembe Raphael, a resident of the area.

At Kitende a cell on May 17, they robbed Nalukwago Sanyu, a mobile money agent of Shs17m.

On June 10, with other three still at large, they shot dead Nalwadda Harriet and Nakabuubi Moreen before robbing them Shs6m in Zana.

They were arrested while planning another robbery mission of a mobile money dealer in Mutukula.

They had an AK 47 gun with which they have been terrorising Nansana, Mpererwe and Kajjansi suburbs.
