Uganda Journalists Association [UJA] President Kazibwe Bashir Mbaziira has been flown out of the country for further treatment.
Kazibwe was on Friday discharged by International Hospital in Kampala [IHK] after nearly a week of medical attention.
UJA deputy secretary for information, Paul Lubwama, said Kazibwe is still in bad shape and his condition has not stabilised despite the discharge.
He was admitted on Sunday June 2 due to severe stomach ache, headache and fever.
His family has since flown the journalist to Nairobi, the capital of Kenya for further treatment and analysis by specialists.

Even MP Zaake Francis Butebi of Mityana Municipality who visited Kazibwe in hospital agreed he was “actually not in a good condition but needs specialized medication”.
