Former Buganda Lukiiko Speaker Hajj Musa Kaddu Sserunkuuma died.
The Kingdom announced on its twitter handle that Hajj Sserunkuuma died on Tuesday but didn’t divulge details of the illness.
Hajji Sserunkuuma served as Buganda Lukiiko [parliament] Speaker during the tenure of former Kattikiro, Eng JB Walusimbi.
The late Hajji Sserunkuuma was a son to former Lukiiko Speaker, the late Ali Kulumba.
The Kabaka appointed him speaker in a cabinet reshuffle of 2008 after the death of Hajji Sulaiman Kaddunabbi Lubega who was the Lukiiko speaker.
Sserunkuuma was deputised by Dr Higiro Semajege who died in 2013.
