Baby rapper Patrick Ssenyonjo aka Fresh Kid on Thursday met Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development Permanent Secretary, Pius Bigirimana.
The meeting took place at the Ministry headquarters in Kampala where the 7-year-old said he is studying hard to become a permanent secretary like Bigirimana.
Bigirimana also met Fresh Kid’s parents Paul Mutabazi and Madrine Namata.
He asked promoter Francis Kamoga to come up with a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that stipulates the roles, responsibilities and interests of each party.
Some of the key aspects of the MoU will include how to share proceeds from performances, commitment for the kid to continue school, how many hours to rest and how many to perform.
Fresh Kid has already been nominated for an international award in the Carolina Music Video Awards 2019.
Carolina Music Video Awards 2019 are scheduled for July 20, 2019 at the NASCAR Hall of Fame High Octane Theatre in Charlotte, North Carolina.
On May 5, the Banteeka singer said he had passed his exams as well as his interview at Kampala Parents School where he has a scholarship by Ruparelia group.
“Bambi thanks for your prayers, I emerged number 4 in class last term,” he said.
He added: “Secondly, I also managed to highly pass my interview at Kampala Parents.”
