People Power’s Ryan, Milca win MUST, Ndejje guild presidency

People Power Movement once again secured presidential seats in two more universities as people allied to Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine continue to distinguish themselves.

Muhumuza Ryan Umar secured his seat in the Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST) elections while and Nabacwa Milca took the Ndejje University guild seat.

While congratulating them, Bobi Wine, the founder of the Movement, said  the People Power train continues in institutions of higher learning.

“I congratulate comrades Nabacwa Milca and Muhumuza Ryan Umar on your victory.”

He said these join many other students’ leaders in various Universities and other tertiary institutions who have won elections, running under the People Power banner.

In many cases, these victories have been secured amidst many difficulties- state sponsored intimidation, bribery, etc.

“In the same vein, I congratulate comrades Mwesiga Shenmark and Naiga Audrey, who despite not winning, put up such a commendable fight!”

He added: “As I have said before, seeing intelligent young Ugandans identify with our message reassures me that the future is bright. Indeed, this is a generational cause.”

People Power’s winning spree:

People Power’s Luswata Byron Expedito won Nkumba University Guild Presidency.

Makerere University guild seat was taken by Kateregga Julius [People Power].

Kyambogo University is under Tundulu Jonathan [People Power].

Metropolitan International University is under Nkalubo Dauda [People Power].
