Ruparelia Group has announced a sponsorship that will see young rapper Patrick Ssenyonjo aka Fresh Kid finish his primary education.
The group led by tycoon and philanthropist Sudhir Ruparelia and his son Rajiv Ruparelia will sponsor Fresh Kid’s education at Kampala Parents School which is owned by the foundation.
Rajiv, one of the directors at Ruparelia Group, said they will pay school fees for Fresh Kid’s from Primary Two [P.2] to Primary Seven [P.7].
Rajiv told press that he was moved by Fresh Kid’s ambition which will guide and inspire many young people.
“Today I met this young man called Fresh Kid –he is only 7 years old. Ruparelia Foundation is presenting this young man with a full scholarship from the Ruparelia Foundation to go to Kampala Parents School,” Rajiv said.
This came after the Minister of Youth and Children Affairs, Hon Florence Nakiwala Kiyingi, told Fresh Kid to go back to school and finish his education.
The Ruparelia Foundation which has been working to improve and promote health, education, sports, general welfare, poverty eradication, improve livelihoods, at last presented an opportunity for this to goal to be achieved.
