Museveni gives boy presidential handshake

President Museveni on Sunday stopped by the newly completed Moroto-Nakapiripirit road to take a call.

The old man with a hat also acknowledged cheers from his Bazukulu [grandchildren].

Loiki Mugisha Godfrey jumped over to take the popular handshake and a blessing from Jajja [grandfather].

Presidential Press Secretary Lindah Nabusayi said Museveni is in Karamoja on a two day working visit.

He also inspected a guard of honour mounted by officers and men of the UPDF at Moroto Barracks.

UPDF soldiers raised the issue of nation Identity cards that have become a nightmare and urged the president to prevail on NIRA officials.

Soldiers say they have now instituted a tripartite to investigate what the problem is.

The President is on a nation-wide tour of all national barracks.
