Besigye says MP Kabaziguruka now out of danger

Besigye visiting Kabaziguruka

People’s Government President Kizza Besigye has Tuesday visited hospitalised Nakawa Division MP Michael Kabaziguruka.

Kabaziguruka, the Deputy Minister for Planning and Economic Development in the people’s assembly, is admitted at Kampala Hospital in Kololo.

“Hon Michael Kabaziguruka has had 3 major road accidents in rapid succession!” Besigye said.

“He is out of danger now but definitely needs prayers- it’s too much. Saying that “It never rains but it pours” is so apt. He has my prayers!”

He was admitted following an accident on Bombo road on Sunday.

Two people died in the incident while five others were critically injured following a three-car crash involving two Members of Parliament.

The accident happened near Best Park Factory located in Matugga on Bombo Road.

Kabaziguruka, who was driving vehicle number UBB 355X Prado and Buliisa district Woman MP Norah Bigirwa who was being driven in UAZ 283k Land cruiser Prado, collided with a third vehicle UAV 895G.

Kabaziguruka was still recovering from a double fracture on one of his legs when the ambulance van he was driving collided with another truck near the Uganda Manufacturers Association Showground in Lugogo, Kampala in 2017.
