Cielo Lounge, the finesse five-star bar and lounge that sits on the 5th floor of The Cube, Kisementi, Friday launched a sumptuous buffet for its clients.
Michael Jowasi, Cielo Lounge Marketing Manager, told edge.ug that the buffet officially starts on Monday next week in the restaurant section.
It will go for Shs20,000 a plate. It will majorly feature delicious local foods like matooke, chicken, Irish and sweet potatoes, etc.
“The kitchen will be open for other orders,” Jowasi said, explaining that those who don’t prefer what the buffet has to offer, can ask for something else to be prepared.
The restaurant will be serving starters also called appetisers coloured by different soups, specially prepared to the clients’ varying tastes.
This will be accompanied by various desserts including fresh fruits and tasty cakes.
“The buffet will be available every Monday to Friday from 1-4pm. Everyone is welcome to taste our special food,” Jowasi said.
Jowasi told edge.ug that after enjoying the meals, customers will also be treated to cool music every Friday.
The bar will be hosting soul artists every Friday to play soothing music for its clients.
Yesterday, the lounge kicked off the weekend with Happy Kyazze, Uganda’s top afro-jazz saxophonist.
In what Jowasi dubbed “Burning Fridays Wakanda Edition”, partiers will grace the lounge dressed in African wear [bitenge and kanzu].
The bar will then play African music or music of the continent.
Cielo opened its doors in December 2018 and treated revellers to a whole new fresh, cosy and comfortable atmosphere.
Henok Serak Teseai, who co-owns the classy lounge, says it is the perfect organisation for any reservations with a restaurant that has all sorts of food at affordable prices.
