City events MC Edwin Katamba aka MC Kats is still in love with singer Fille Mutoni despite their endless public fights.
On Valentines Day, lovers were left dumbfounded when Kats walked to the stage and grabbed a microphone from Fille who was performing at Wave Lounge in Kololo.
Kats said he had the right to take the microphone from Fille who he accused of forgetting where she came from—that she started with nothing.
“I have the right to stop her performance or do anything I feel like with her because I am the one did everything possible to push her to this level she now boosts of. I made her a star but she doesn’t seem to know that,” he said.
Douglas Lwanga, Kat’s co-host of NBS’s “After 5” musical show, says he has tried many times to reconcile the two to no avail.
“People fall in and out of love on a daily so it’s not new. I have interacted with Kats on a daily I know he has failed you many times but you too have failed him many times. If its soccer it’s a draw,” Lwanga said.
He added: “Let’s all get that quiet time and remember the sacrifices that took to build that brand and the happy moments you two shared. Unless you say there was no impact he had in your life but I know you have confessed he has been instrumental to your career.”
He went on: “Honestly I know he hurt you in many ways, you had a right to go mad but remember you too did the same to him in equal measure. No one can forget eight years of working together and just drop the ball. No one can take that in easily and I don’t judge Kats for any actions I see him take,” Lwanga wrote on social media.
Kats and Fille still want each other?
On February 15, a day after Valentines, Kats said the most painful part isn’t the mistakes “you have done but the good things we have done for bad people”.
Appearing on “NBS Uncut” programme, MC Kats confessed that he is still in love with Fille Mutoni.
The King of the mic also confirmed that he is still in charge of her Social Media accounts.
Earlier, Singer Fille Mutoni told Daily Monitor’s Sqoop: “I respect MC Kats; he is the father of my kid. He is the person who got me from the village when no one else believed in me.”
She went on: “We can be able to sit in one room and solve our misunderstandings. I and MC Kats have really hustled to build ourselves. Am a genuine person. The truth is, we have to reconcile whether he likes or not, Mc Kats will forever be my best friend.”
Pencil thin TV presenter Sheila Gashumba advised the couple to stop the drama and respect themselves.
“This @mckatsug and @FilleOfficial drama needs to stop. I think it’s getting abit out of hand. Wish yourselves good luck, peace and good health and move on. The internet isn’t the best place to solve this and please don’t forget to respect yourselves,” Sheila tweeted.
