Famous political analyst Dr. Abdu Noor Kaliisa has predicted that first son Lieutenant General Muhoozi Kainerugaba will succeed his father President Museveni.

“Lieutenant General Muhoozi Kainerugaba will be the second president of Uganda after his father President Museveni’s departure,” said Dr. Kaliisa while giving his insight into current affairs on NBS TV Sunday evening.

The former House of Zakat Managing Director said Muhoozi already has the country in his palms.

“He will have all the power,” he noted.

He even laughed when asked whether Inspector General of Police Martin Okoth Ochola has any powers over the police force.

According to him, it’s not Ochola in charge of police but Muzeeyi Sabiti, his deputy who has been raised from Brigadier to the rank of Major General.

Bobi Wine has no chance

Kaliisa earlier ruled out Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine telling him to instead rally behind Mugisha Muntu, the former FDC President and now New Formation boss who “has leadership qualities”.

Appearing on a weekly programme “Ensi Ne’ebyafaayo”, Dr Kaliisa said Bobi Wine who has already announced his bid for 2021 presidency, will never lead Uganda.

“He knows the truth and he knows what to do. I said anyone who is not a General will never lead this country. Any person who has no attachment to any political party has no chance.”

Appearing on NBS “morning breeze” programme, Kitagwenda MP Hon. Abbas Agaba said personally, he wouldn’t mind how and where Lieutenant General Muhoozi Kainerugaba is raised.

“If he merits the raise, then he should be promoted. In the military, there are ranks you work for and after achieving them, what comes after is a reward for the kind of work you are doing.”

He added: “The mistake we make is to politicize or democratize some of these decisions.”

But the Busiro East legislator, Medard Lubega Sseggona, wondered what Muhoozi has done to warrant this marathon rise through the ranks.
